1. PLEASE CONDUCT A SELF SCREENING

If you have any one of the following symptoms please reschedule your appointment and contact Health Links for further screening:

  • Fever (above 38 degrees celsius)

  • Cough

  • Chills

  • Sore Throat/Hoarse Voice

  • Shortness of Breath/Difficulty Breathing

  • Loss of Smell or Taste

  • Vomiting Diarrhea (more than 24 hours)

If you have two or more of the following symptoms please reschedule your appointment and contact Health Links for further screening:

  • Runny Nose

  • Muscle Aches

  • Fatigue

  • Skin Rash of Unknown Cause

  • Headache 

  • Nausea or Loss of Appetite

  • Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)

If you are living with someone who is COVID positive or suspected positive, please refrain from coming to your appointment. Appointments can always be rescheduled.

If you have travelled outside of Manitoba (excluding border communities) or have been in contact with someone who has travelled please quarantine for 14 days and reschedule your appointment.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of these symptoms overlap with things like allergies, anxieties, seasonal colds, etc. If the onset is new please get screened by Health Links prior to your appointment.

2. GO AHEAD AND BOOK YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT

If you have third party insurance, please ensure there haven't been any changes made to your plan.

3. BE SURE TO SELF SCREEN AGAIN THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

You will be asked to self screen the day of your appointment. All above details will be in your reminder/confirmation emails. Any appointments that may need to be rescheduled the fees for such will be waived.

4. WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

In an effort to keep the space safe, we have eliminated the waiting room, for now. When you do arrive for your scheduled appointment please text or email me that you have arrived and that you have passed your self screening. When I have finished  all the appropriate cleaning I will let you know it is safe to come in. If this plan does not feel accessible to you please let me know so that we can customize something more suited to your individual needs.

Once inside you will be asked to sanitize your hands, supplies will be provided. The floor will be clearly marked to maintain appropriate distancing for your time in the building (not including hands on treatment time). Signage will also be posted with appropriate etiquette.

5. ANY OTHER SAFETY CONCERNS...

Masks, gloves, goggles, and gowns..... My commitment is to wear a new washable mask and apron fresh for each appointment and eye shields will be donned at the start of my day and appropriately doffed at the end of my day. Gloves will only be worn if the integrity of my own skin has been compromised or I deem necessary based on the needs of a given situation. Internal TMJ and cupping treatments will be on hold for now.

For yourself, if you could please wear a mask to your appointment. If you need one a washable or a disposable one for $2 will available for you. If you choose to wear gloves, please understand that you will be asked to remove them to sanitize your hands, as stated above, upon arrival.
